As accounting tutors, we are dedicated to adding value to our school and the accounting profession. Helping students reach an understanding in accounting fundamentals, principles, and concepts is the driving force guiding our program. This program is indebted to its volunteers’ tireless efforts and academic prowess. Without our wonderful volunteers, the accounting-tutoring program at Seattle University would not be the success it is today.

BAP Tutors

The Dept. of Accounting provides opportunities for student to get involved.  BAP (Beta Alpha Psi) members are recruited every quarter to volunteer as accounting tutors in service to Seattle University’s student body.

BAP is an honorary organization for Financial Information students and professionals. The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance and information systems; providing opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.
